HEAD OF NPD £80,000 - £95,000 London (Hybrid) We are working with a scaling D2C health/wellness business focused on delivering better nutrition by offering specialist nutritionist-designed products specifically for women. Their mission is to empower women globally to become the best version of themselves. This role is available due to the company’s significant growth and ambitious goals, offering you the opportunity to shape your own growth and development. They are seeking a Head of NPD/Innovation to join their team; this role offers the opportunity to drive innovative product launches and category development- leading the innovation process from end to end. You'll be working in an agile, fast-paced and exciting high-growth environment of this scaling D2C business playing a pivotal role in it's success and growth. ROLE: As the Head of NPD/Innovation you will be responsible for working closely with the Founder and internal teams to manage the innovation process from end to end. This will be a truly creative role which will see you ideate new product ideas and categories based on market insight and trends- very much managing the full NPD life-cycle. You'll be someone who is familiar scoping out market trends, taking key insights and translating them into commercially viable NPD ideas and then bringing them to reality and fruition. Products are currently D2C but there is potential to go into retail/grocery with the Head of NPD/Innovation playing a big part in this ambition. You will collaborate closely with internal teams- Marketing, Operations/Logistics whilst also work closely with external suppliers and third-parties (including manufacturers and supply chain). The ambition is to launch 4 new products per year and if there is a commercial case, potential to build your own team. YOU: A self-starter with bags of energy; you'll enjoy having the autonomy of managing your own processes A proven-track record of extending a category/ taking a brand/product into a new area or space.
