The vacancy As an Apprenticeship Support Officer, you will be a key member of the Business Development team, responsible for creating a pool of job-ready applicants to fill apprenticeship vacancies across DN Colleges Group. Your role will involve pre-screening applicants, upskilling them through workshops, and providing the necessary tools to secure apprenticeships with employers. You will also engage with schools, attend careers events, and build relationships with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Source applicants for apprenticeship vacancies through internal and external engagement. Support individuals in the application process for apprenticeship vacancies. Develop a pool of applicants prepared for apprenticeship opportunities. Conduct employability and work readiness workshops. Liaise with schools, attend careers events, and engage with potential apprentices. Build relationships with applicants, employers, and other stakeholders. Promote apprenticeships across the DN Colleges Group.Key Activities Coordinate and carry out marketing activities to promote apprenticeships. Attend and present at careers fairs, job centres, schools, and other external sites. Provide pre-apprenticeship guidance and support to individuals. Use IT systems for customer relationship management. Deliver employability training sessions and support applicants in interview preparation. Track applicants' progress and provide feedback to improve their applications.Essential Criteria: Level 4 Information Advice and Guidance qualification. 5 GCSEs including English and Maths. Experience in customer service, problem-solving, and communication. Ability to remain calm and professional in a demanding environment.
