Technical Business Analyst

On behalf of EANI, we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst(Inside IR35) for a contract up to the end of March 2025 based remotely but does Include occasional visits to any EANI office across Northern Ireland EA was established on 1 April 2015 under the Education Act (Northern Ireland) 2014. EA is a non-departmental public body sponsored by the Department of Education (DE) and the Department for the Economy (DfE), responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective primary and secondary education and educational services are available to meet the needs of children andyoungpeople, and for ensuring the provision of efficient and effective youth services. Technical Business Analyst will act as the key liaison when engaging with other Directorates and Services, providing advice on project ideas and enabling the provision of services required for transformation. Leadand co-ordinate the activities of their area of responsibility ensuring the achievement of the projects overallobjectiveswithin specified time and budget constraints. As a Technical Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be: Modeling business data structures and integrations, assessing and documenting current and future process aligned to the Programme of Work Establish the documentation necessary including technical specification for the relevant full business case Work closely with the PMO and Head of Projects to ensure that all project deliverables conform to the PM Framework. Leadand co-ordinate on requirements gathering, development and delivery of requirements throughout project delivery within the Programme To develop process documentation (including process maps), business cases and procurement documentation to support the Business in achieving the strategic and operationalobjectivesof their directorate. Oversee the implementation of multiple projects across EA services within defined timescales and budget Report to the Programme Board and PMO on the progress of the ICT projects against agreed time and cost constraints Identifying opportunities for process improvement to improve quality, efficiency and/or value to support projects in achieving the strategic and operationalobjectivesof the directorate. Provide cover for the Technical Business PartnerLeadswhen required. To contribute to the development of a strategic plan andleadon the development of the service-specific business plan. Establish the documentation necessary including technical specification for the relevant full business case To contribute to the development of a strategic plan andleadon the development of the service-specific business plan. Investigate all complaints/adverse incidents within their areas of responsibilities where outcomes are below expected standards. Essential Skills Extensive experience in the delivery of technical analyst projects from end to end Stakeholder engagement at all levels Including boards Public or private sector experience Experience in presenting and updating senior stakeholders on project delivery Excellent communication skills Strongself starter Desirable Skills Prince2 qualification would be highly desirable Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
