What the school wants? We are seeking an experienced SENCO to join our 'Outstanding' school in the London Borough of Croydon. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and managing a high standard of provision for learners with Special Educational Needs. You will play a key role in raising attainment and ensuring that SEN students are making sustainable progress. Ideal Candidate Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Proven experience as a SENCO, preferably with children with ASC and other special needs. Strong knowledge of EHCP processes and annual reviews. NASENCO qualification (desirable) or willingness to work towards it. Excellent organizational skills for planning and monitoring SEND provision. Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, parents, and external professionals.
