Primary SEND Teaching Assistant

Staff for Education are working in partnership with an outstanding Primary School in the Newark area and we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated SEND Teaching Assistant to start at this school as soon as possible. This is a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year at least, due to increased needs of the class. As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include: • Working on a 1-2-1 basis with assigned children who have additional needs • Supporting the class teacher during lessons • Working with small groups of pupils • Running small group support • Assessment and reporting to class teacher • Working across all year groups To be successful for the role, you will: • Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification • Have experience working within a school environment • Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning Staff for Education are a specialist recruitment agency based in the heart of Mansfield, specialising in connecting exceptional staff with our schools and educational settings across the East Midlands.
