Due to ongoing success, they’re seeking a talented and experienced client facing Data Analyst to join their dynamic Consulting team focusing on their bluechip clients within energy/commodity trade or risk management operations.The RoleAs a Data Analyst you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of high-quality data projects. Here's what you'll be doing:Become an expert in our client’s data management/analytics platform, in support of clients that are active in the global energy and commodities markets (oil, gas, power, metals, agriculture etc).Identify prospect/client requirements, design/implement data-driven workflows that leverage our client’s products and services.Advise on / design integrations between our clients products and complimentary systems/applications e.g. Power BI, Python, ETRM systems, data lakes etc.Support clients on data feeds - sources, structure, industry standards, publication conventions, deployments, testingSupport clients on analytics/transformations on time series / futures / options dataIdeal CandidateDegree in quantitative/mathematics/statistics fieldHave previous experience in a consulting role, managing external stakeholder relationshipsIdeally have familiarity with data/analytics specific to energy, finance, insurance, commodities, FX or interest rates i.e. derivative contracts (futures/options), historical settlements etc.Strong technical skills in SQLFoundation skills in IT/coding e.g. Python, VBA, APIs or othersHave experience engaging external stakeholdersAbility to integrate, connect, and thrive in a predominantly WFH arrangementWhy Join?Working on cutting-edge project within Data and SoftwareCollaborative environment with world-class companiesGlobal presenceOpportunity to work on high-impact projects in trade and risk managementNext StepsThis Data Analyst role is in high demand and won't be available for long.
