Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) - Secondary & SEMH Location: Watford, outskirts Salary: £90-£100 per day Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, Term-time only), on a temp to perm basis Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN), including SEMH, ensuring they are engaged and making progress. Work closely with teachers and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning strategies. Support students in both academic and social aspects of their development. Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Requirements: Experience working with young people, ideally within a school setting. Experience with SEN is essential, ideally Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) - this could be professionally, or personally. Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
